Hello,welcome to my blog. I really want to say I hope you learn..blah blah like I see other bloggers do. But well I am no expert in matters health so every other concept you'll come across here is almost entirely my opinion influenced by experience. In case you're wondering why I could not keep it to my journal or share it simply with my girl gang,I should remind you that information is power. Here,have a sip..

I grew up knowing that healthy living encompasses matters diets,just that. Mama reiterated this by randomly throwing in.,don't eat that it's not healthy. She hardly ever bought us snacks and when she did,it was in the smallest of quantities. She has never made fries at home,taking raw salt is close to treason here and the way she sugars our tea is insane. This was the basis of healthy living being all about the food we eat. 

I read widely irrespective of genre and author. It is from these books and random articles that I picked up the diversity of healthy living. I learnt aspects of mental,spiritual,reproductive health among others which act as the stake holders to the entity healthy living. But one thing is inherent health is affected by what you take in. If you harbour stress in your system for example, you're creating a pathway for among other things depression and regardless of how natural your recipes get,or how balanced your diet is you cannot be healthy. So the balancing should go beyond diet. 

Reproductive health has always been my favourite health wing. I am glad conversations around this have gone beyond closed doors and shameful whispers to vocal and head on confrontation of things as they are. Girls understanding their menstrual cycles,hygiene and sexuality. Boys on the other hand understanding the functionality of both theirs and the ladies bodies and learn  respect. Spiritual health is personal, you choose what to align your soul to.,deity,mantra,science,astrology. This too needs a check. I love likening spirituality to physical fitness. How fit one is is determined by how much effort and time they put on working out. Work on that spirituality.
