Marching on..

Hey March and all that saw you. I'll like to bring to your attention girl's stuff. I started a business recently, non profit much. We,my team and I give out our merchandise for free. All those in this humble viewership are my lucky customers for the day. I sell words.  Being the month that houses women's day,I'll write about women every day of March .My genre of expression would be a song on women on a daily basis and my music taste's doope. Today's song#Girl--Marren Morris My favorite lyrics;_Draw your comparisons, trying to find who's lesser than, I don't wanna wear your crown, there's enough to go round_  Word is the sun can shine on us all.

The cross and the crown

I am about soak you in my belief and stretch your unbelief to a point close to mine belief. God in his bountifulness,he could give man so many options from salvation to survival whims. He limited them to a scope of instruction which is still very wide for us believers. May I introduce you to salvation,in my layman understanding. This is confession that Jesus is Lord and saviour over your life and taking instructions from holy writs. In the vastness of options,in a world with so much for options, there's just one way to get saved, personal confession. After this confession you live by the word that cometh from Him. Much of this upright living turns out to be not so fun by standards of earth. This is when survival whims show up and battle with holy writs instructions. Those with the mandate of guiding believers in the ways of the light too get compromised and begin to preach a gospel of convenience.  So thy friend is here to wash thy feet; see the cross, follow the cross. Get the crown

My prayer list

I love keeping records. Being a very habitual person I keep doing things the same way, with slight changes which are the very necessary ones. One thing that would be a major milestone for me has to be knowing how to pray effectively. Join me in this class, teach me what you know.  Priscillar Shirer is more than just my favourite preacher. She's a role model and a mentor. Don't get me wrong I haven't ever preached before. The farthest altar call I have done is sing in church. Priscilla doesn't inspire me to be a preacher, her understanding and interpretation of the word is the type of grace I look forward to tapping into. In one of her online sermons she mentioned a thing about saying strategic prayers. ..for the battle is not my own but of the Lord to defend His own. But first you have to invite God in,then you allow him to work in you. How limited the human mind is. We limit our prayers to the ordinary feats, struggles and dreams. Completely disregarding how He's able t

Forgiveness lessons from old magazines

The story was about a family seeking justice. It wasn't primed on the front page but had an entire page to it with pictures, statistics and expert advice. It deserved a feature or prime time exclusive coverage during news bulletin. After going through it and gaping at the facts being revealed I checked the date of the magazine and chuckled. It was from three years back. Perhaps the family gave up the pursuit or maybe they eventually found it.  I am an avid reader that is broke but has enough attention to pay to most if not all written works. I get glued to small work even orbirtuaries. I am thirsty for information. But I choose to think of it perspective of forgiveness. Regardless of the date I still read. In relevance and lacking I still read. In detail or not,I still read. In clarity or blur,I still read.  I have always struggled with forgiveness. Find a place in your heart.,I lack that place no lie. I take things to heart which sources hurt and pain. Magazines and newspapers teac

Because I am a girl

I would love to insist that this is a rant,I didn't have much space to have it as an entry in my diary so bear with how personal the angle can get. Basketball. Game of wit, style, glam name it. Away from the appraisal, mans and I head to the court for a scrimmage because ballers ball. The closest court which is not so close happens to be having a game between outsiders and those of that home court. Mans and I are outsiders so we roll. Little hitch before we left but we all good. So we get there and the game is on the first quarter, fifth minute meaning I'll get to play.  The score is pretty much on a seesaw scale, outsiders are streaming in pretty fast too,my little soft heart begins to despair. The first quarter down, substitutions made ahead of the second quarter,my heart will go on,hopeful much. Then I get my chance, one two runs a time out for our side. 'Madam, naambiwa hii si training ni game kwa hio utatoka kidogo, ata Mimi nimeifeel...permit me to translate. Never mind, what o

Big's Story

Hello reader, hoping you're doing your best in the chase for change and chance, yours truly serves you with this read. The prompt behind this was a random thought at a random hour of day about the game I so much love, basketball. I stalled in birthing it here because I was quite unsure about whether reader's would enjoy an entirely sporty piece. Here we are regardless,on that courty vibe. Basketball is a game of wit,to which height is a huge addition. Most coaches plant the tall players at the base for obvious reasons, rebounds and last man clean up business. This is a lot of work . To the smaller men, this is not to say your bakes and shakes are unnecessary. Matter of fact they are as vital as securing an offensive rebound. This right here however was a party for the bigs. They get all the attention and appraisal.  Big men are selfless, vocal and are expected to run fast enough and reach both ends in good time. The smalls can be selfish with the ball making big men their good beasts
